On Sept. 2, Mineola learners across the district officially kicked off the 2024–2025 academic year, arriving with smiles, school spirit, and plenty of excitement for the year ahead.
From the youngest kindergartners to high school seniors, students were eager to return to their classrooms, reconnect with friends and teachers, and embrace new opportunities for learning, creativity, and growth.
The energy was felt across all schools—whether it was seniors showing off their spirit gear, eighth graders enjoying a welcome back BBQ, or the warm greetings from principals and staff as students walked through the doors. Each moment reflected the district’s commitment to creating a supportive, engaging start for every learner.
Mineola Public Schools looks forward to celebrating the achievements, milestones, and growth of its students throughout the year.
