Success Starts With Support: Community Conversation at Wheatley

By Angela Jung

East Williston families are invited to “Success Starts With Support” — a community event focused on helping parents and students navigate challenges such as academics, friendships, bullying or discrimination, translation needs, and post-secondary planning.

Hosted by the Chinese American Association of East Williston (CAAEW) in collaboration with the Chinese-American Planning Council (CPC), the event will take place on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at 6:00 PM at The Wheatley School.

District administrators invited to join the discussion include:

  • Dr. Danielle Gately, Superintendent of Schools

  • Mr. Sean O’Brien, Director of Guidance

  • Ms. Faith Tripp, Director of World Languages and ENL

The evening aims to give families practical tools, support, and a welcoming space to ask questions and build stronger connections with school leaders.

All East Williston families are encouraged to attend.
