The holiday season rang a little brighter at NYU Langone Health thanks to the voices of the Mineola High School choir.
Under the direction of Dr. Megan Messina, students recently visited the hospital to perform seasonal selections for staff and patients, sharing music, warmth, and holiday spirit. The annual caroling tradition offered a welcome moment of joy for those spending the season away from home and for healthcare workers caring for patients during a busy time of year.
The performance reflects the choir’s ongoing commitment to community engagement—bringing their talents beyond school concerts and into spaces where music can uplift and connect. By singing in the hospital setting, students experienced firsthand the power of music to comfort and inspire.
The visit was organized in partnership with Mineola Public Schools, continuing a tradition that highlights both artistic excellence and service.
