East Williston Celebrates a Century at Centennial Gala
As part of East Williston's yearlong Centennial Celebration, residents, community leaders, and local organizations gathered at Westbury Manor on April 23 for a memorable evening honoring the village's first 100 years.
The Centennial Gala brought together generations of residents to celebrate East Williston's rich history, strong sense of community, and bright future. The evening featured remarks from Mayor Bonnie Parente, reflections from members of the Centennial Committee and community leaders, and the participation of the East Williston Fire Department, whose longstanding service has been an integral part of the village's story.
Filled with laughter, shared memories, and community pride, the gala was a fitting tribute to the people and traditions that have shaped East Williston over the past century. As the village continues its Centennial Celebration throughout the year, the event served as a reminder that its greatest strength has always been the neighbors who make it feel like home.
