Supporting Our Library, Strengthening Our Community

Dear East Williston Community,

We are pleased to introduce the Friends of the East Williston Library, a non-profit organization committed to supporting our beloved library, our true community center. The Friends of the East Williston Library is a group of volunteers whose mission is to support our local library through generous donations from the community to enhance library services and resources.

This year, the library has experienced significant budget cuts. Our goal is to raise funds, advocate for our library, and ensure it continues to provide the programs, services, and welcoming space that our community loves and depends on. But we can’t do it alone — we need you!

With the holidays approaching, please keep our library in mind. We are able to accept monetary donations (in any amount) and gift cards (Target, Amazon). Donations can be used to sponsor the purchase of iPads, family passes to museums, special programs, supplies and more!

To make a donation, you may bring a check or gift card directly to the East Williston Public Library during operating hours. Alternatively, checks can be mailed to the library. All checks should be made payable to: The East Williston Library.
