Herricks Students Celebrate School Spirit at STRIVE Homecoming

On October 1, Herricks High School hosted a special STRIVE Homecoming celebration, bringing together students, athletes, cheerleaders, and the beloved Herricks mascots for a spirited day of fun, friendship, and school pride.

The event was designed to give students meaningful opportunities to connect, collaborate, and celebrate as one school community. Through a variety of interactive activities, participants built new friendships, strengthened teamwork, and showcased the Mustang spirit that defines Herricks.

The STRIVE Homecoming is part of the district’s ongoing commitment to creating inclusive and enriching experiences that support personal growth and foster a sense of belonging among all students. From cheering alongside classmates to engaging in team games and creative activities, the day was filled with smiles, laughter, and lasting memories.

Herricks Public Schools continues to prioritize programs that encourage student engagement, community connection, and the joy of shared celebration.
