Fall Fun for a Great Cause: East Williston Harvest Fest to Support Local Fire Department

By Williston Post Staff

Fall is in the air, and East Williston is getting ready to celebrate the season with a day of family fun, community spirit and support for its local heroes!

The East Williston Harvest Fest will take place on Saturday, October 24, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the East Williston Village Green, located at 470 Sagamore Avenue. The event promises an afternoon filled with autumn activities, delicious food and opportunities for neighbors to come together, all while raising funds for the East Williston Fire Department.

Families can look forward to hayrides, bounce castles, face painting, balloon animals and a variety of outdoor vendors. There will be plenty of tasty treats, including popcorn, cotton candy and corn, along with food from Brendo's Heroes Burgers Wings.

More than just a fall celebration, Harvest Fest is an opportunity for the community to give back to the volunteer firefighters who dedicate their time to keeping East Williston safe. All proceeds from the event will benefit the East Williston Fire Department, helping support the men and women who answer the call when their neighbors need them most.

The festival is also a wonderful way to bring families together, reconnect with friends and neighbors, and enjoy the small-town charm that makes East Williston special. From children enjoying their first hayride to parents catching up over lunch, the afternoon promises something for everyone.

So gather the family, invite your neighbors and head to the Village Green for some fall fun with a purpose. It's a chance to make memories, celebrate community and show appreciation for the firefighters who do so much for East Williston.

The event will be held rain or shine, with a rain date of Sunday, October 25.

Come for the fall fun, stay for the community spirit, and help support East Williston's bravest!
