Williston Park Honors Veterans at Annual Ceremony

Williston Park once again came together to pay tribute to the brave men and women who have served our nation during the Village’s annual Veterans Day observance. The ceremony, conducted by VFW Post 1688 in conjunction with American Legion Post 144, was originally planned for outdoors but had to be moved inside Village Hall due to freezing temperatures — and even a few unexpected snow flurries.

Despite the chilly weather, the spirit of the event remained warm and heartfelt. Residents, families, and local officials gathered to honor our veterans through moving remarks, patriotic reflections, and a shared sense of gratitude.
