Village Court Experience – December 4

High school and college students interested in law or public service are invited to attend the next East Williston Village Court Experience on Thursday, December 4 at 6:30 PM. This unique program gives young people an inside look at how the local justice system works, from court procedures to real-world decision-making.

This month’s guest speaker is James Daw, a highly respected local attorney with more than 50 years of experience as a prosecutor, civil litigator, law school instructor, and longtime Village Trustee. In retirement, he has dedicated over a decade to pro bono work defending low-income residents of the Bronx.

Students will hear firsthand insights from Mr. Daw and have the chance to ask questions, observe proceedings, and learn about careers in the legal field. It’s an invaluable opportunity to explore the justice system up close and gain meaningful exposure to the world of law.
