Mineola Board of Education recognizes Mustangs Marching Band for state championship win

At the Oct 30 meeting, the Mineola Board of Education recognized the Mineola High School Mustangs Marching Band for their New York State Championship victory.

At the Oct 30 meeting, the Mineola Board of Education proudly recognized the Mineola High School Mustangs Marching Band for their New York State Championship victory, celebrating the students’ dedication, talent and teamwork.

During the board meeting, student leaders and staff were presented with certificates of recognition for their exceptional contributions to the band’s success. The honorees included:

“We are incredibly proud of our Mustangs Marching Band students, whose dedication, talent and teamwork brought them to a State Championship victory,” said Karen Bernstein, Supervisor of Fine and Performing Arts. “This achievement also reflects the creativity, vision and tireless guidance of Director Ken Kamping and his entire team, who inspire our students to excel both on and off the field.”

The Board’s recognition honors the collective effort of the band’s students, directors and staff, highlighting the importance of leadership, teamwork and school spirit in achieving such a remarkable milestone.
