Message from Williston Park Mayor: Request for Food Donations

Message from the Mayor

Due to the recent SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) Federal Government Shutdown, I invite the residents of Williston Park to participate in an urgent need for food donations to our local food bank through St. Aidan’s Social Parish Ministry.  Items that have been requested are… Chicken cutlets, any types of meat, small Turkeys, and frozen vegetables.

Please drop off these items off at the Finamore Parish Center (across from Church) from 7:00 – 3:30 pm.  Ask for Roe Cavallaro.  Phone #516-746-6585 option #5.  Please ring the bell to alert the staff you are there.

As the government shutdown continues, New Yorkers could find themselves in need of food assistance. No matter what happens in the weeks to come, let us, as a Village, come together to help our neighbors in need.  Thank you.
