Brownie Troop 1806 Earns Badges at Charles Water Karate & Fitness

By Chery L Water

Brownie Troop 1806 recently visited Charles Water Karate & Fitness in Williston Park for an exciting and empowering clinic that helped them earn two new badges: the “My Great Day” Badge and the “Fair Play” Badge.

During their visit, the Brownies learned valuable lessons about living with strong values, staying focused, and working toward their full potential. The hands-on session introduced them to principles of self-confidence, respect, and positive goal-setting in a fun and encouraging environment.

Charles Water Karate & Fitness, located at 122 Hillside Avenue, offers free community service clinics that cover topics such as bullying prevention, focus, and leadership. These sessions can be held at the studio or brought to your meeting location and are a great way for scouts to fulfill badge requirements.

The troop had a fantastic time—and walked away not only with new badges, but also with tools they can use every day!

Photos below show all the smiles and energy from this fun and educational day!
